MERABI AW ’25: Celebrating Style at Selfridges
We recently celebrated the launch of our AW ’25 collection at Selfridges’ Trafford Centre styling suite, where VIP guests experienced MERABI Magic with personal styling from our founder and creative director, Nadine Merabi, complemented by cocktails and canapés.
The event marked a significant return to MERABI’s strategic retail partnerships after a period of direct-to-consumer focus. A moment that felt full circle, showcasing how far the brand has come as we approach our 10-year anniversary.

Selfridges has been part of MERABI’s story from the very beginning. In 2012, the renowned retailer offered an opportunity that was instrumental in the early growth of the brand. Just six months after launching MERABI, Selfridges requested a meeting with Nadine in London. Nadine quickly assembled a collection of dresses to showcase, and Selfridges placed their first wholesale order. Within four months, we went from creating one-off bespoke pieces to designing a 12–15 piece collection for the Trafford Centre store. The collection was a hit with our clientele and quickly gained popularity among celebrities.

After this launch in October 2012, MERABI made the difficult decision to pause wholesale temporarily and focus on building our direct-to-consumer business. During this time, we worked hard to develop the brand our customers know and love today, taking time to understand our community and what they want from MERABI. Nine years later, we are honoured to return to Selfridges, celebrating a new chapter. MERABI is ready, and this is the perfect time to team up with our chosen retailers, also known as our strategic retail partners. Timing is key in business, and there’s no need to rush or force decisions.
