Waking Up the West Coast - a Night with NADINE MERABI in LA
Last week, we celebrated NADINE MERABI making its first mark on the West Coast. Following our recent expansion in New York, LA felt like the natural next step, a city alive with creativity, culture, and influence. It offered the perfect backdrop for connecting with some of the most empowering women in fashion and beyond. The evening marked a celebration of relationships, connection, and the confidence that comes with wearing MERABI.
Nadine Merabi, Founder and Creative Director, started this brand with one purpose, “to make women feel good about themselves”.Ten years later, that purpose remains unchanged. We are proud to be here in the US as a UK-based brand, expanding our global footprint while staying true to our roots and values.

We hosted an intimate dinner at the Beverly Hills Waldorf Astoria, where guests gathered in a setting that honoured the spirit of MERABI. Among them were some of the most respected names in styling, influential editors from publications shaping the industry, and creators whose platforms speak to women around the world.

It was a room filled with intention, from celebrated stylists like Jessica Paster and Emily Men, to editors from WWD, Forbes, and InStyle, and creators such as Rene Daniella, Jackie Asamoah, and Hayley Law, each bringing their own perspective and presence. Romee Strijd joined us as a guest of honour, wearing MERABI with confidence and ease.

The evening began with cocktails and conversation, followed by a beautifully curated four-course menu. As the night unfolded, Nadine took a moment to speak, sharing the journey behind the brand, the values it stands for, and her vision for what’s to come.

“I started this brand with one purpose, to make women feel good about themselves. And ten years later, that purpose remains unchanged.” – Nadine Merabi.
Wearing the SOFIA Ivory Dress, Nadine shared:
“It features a corset bodice in an ivory crepe fabrication with encrusted gold bead detailing throughout. I feel super confident in this dress, it cinches me in at the waist, and I love the square neck detailing. I’m ready for Beverly Hills!”

The room buzzed with energy as guests shared what MERABI means to them and how amazing they felt in the garments they were wearing.
Strategist, connector and brand builder, Raya O’Neal told us about her favourite LA spots: “1000% Bravo Toast for matcha and a chicken Caesar wrap. Then shopping in Century City. For dinner, we’re going Alba, West Hollywood, for New York City nightlife vibes.” She wore the NINA Gold Dress: “It makes me feel confident, sexy, and strong. When I walk in, heads are turning. I’m obsessed with this dress; it’s extremely flattering and comfortable.”

Celebrity stylist, Venetia Kidd added: “It’s so lovely seeing so many beautiful women in the collection. I can’t wait to see what else NADINE MERABI has to offer.”
And influencer Stephanie Aziz, in the KARLIE Gold Dress, captured the mood perfectly: “I actually feel fabulous. Like, talk about a cinched waist. It’s just a good little freakum dress, you know? And then we added the blazer to tone it down.”
This was more than a dinner, it was a celebration of confidence, connection, and the women who embody the MERABI spirit. LA, we’ve arrived.
